Professional Development is intended to fulfill requirements for license renewal and recertification when the student has obtained proper prior approval. Please verify with your state licensing board that Teaching Channel professional development will meet your needs. In this course, educators will explore the foundations of culturally relevant teaching—what it is, why it’s important—and learn actionable strategies to ensure that students of all backgrounds have equitable opportunities for success. Note: This course includes all components of the Cultural Competency Training requirement for Minnesota and is approved by Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing & Standards Board (PELSB). Access to Professional Development courses is available for 12 months from the registration date. **You will receive a Teaching Channel Letter of Completion for 10 clock hours (university graduate credit/transcript is not available). No additional discounts are available.**
