This course is centered on the powerful 6 Traits of Writing model, a centerpiece of many districts’ literacy programs.   K-2 teachers will learn how to implement a comprehensive student writing program in their classrooms, improving their skills in planning, actual instruction, and assessment of student writing.  Teachers will find detailed definitions of each trait, along with sample papers, scoring guides, and detailed lessons and activities. A hard copy textbook is included in the course price!  It will be sent via postal mail upon course registration.
