Explore the role homework has played in school culture. Examine what research and educators’ common sense tell us about the effects of homework on student learning and evaluate your existing homework tasks based on purpose and impact. View multiple perspectives on the topic, including ways to create meaningful assignments, ideas to address the homework gap, strategies to motivate students to complete their homework, and ideas for improving the efficiency of assessing homework.
