This course will enable teachers of all content areas to improve the teaching of English language learners. This course contains research related to the brain to assist educators in decoding the learning process of ELLs, and highlights strategies and teaching tips directly address common needs and challenges for developing English language learners. The course addresses basic principles of teaching English language learners, adaptations necessary in helping ELLs understand the content being taught, content area strategies, listening, speaking, fluency, and comprehension strategies.A hard copy textbook is included in the course price!  It will be sent via postal mail upon course registration.
